I finally tried a shaker card this weekend. I needed an anniversary card, and I saw this great little card on Dawn Olchefske’s website, Do Stamping with Dawn. I changed a few things from her card, but I love the layout.
I used Basic Black card stock for my card base and then Basic Gray for the next layer, embossed with the Fancy Fan embossing folder. I punched my shaker hearts from the Red and Silver Glimmer Paper. Just a tip, the Expressions Framelits work great if you remember to place a sheet of wax paper between the framelit and the card stock. It will pop right out!
