Today I played with a stamp set that I must admit has been in my stash for awhile and has only seen ink when I needed the flowers that were in the set. That all changed with this video. I not only used the stamp set, Dressed to Impress, and the dies, but also had fun with my Stampin’ Up! Blends. The Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper made this card quick and easy.
As I mention in my video, the Rococo Rose cardstock is retiring, since it was an In Color introduced in 2019. Even though my husband thinks I own everything that is available from Stampin’ Up!, that’s not quite true. When new In Colors or new core colors are introduced, I buy the cardstock pack that contains a sampling of the colors. I then go through all of my retired inks and see if any of those retired ink colors may work with the new ones. If it looks as if the ink will coordinate fairly closely, I don’t invest in the matching ink pads and refills. That being said, if nothing in my stash seems to hit the mark, my next purchase will definitely include those colors.
For those of you that are new to the stamping arena, go for it. It makes things so much easier when you know you have cardstock, ink and refills that coordinate, and nobody does that better than Stampin’ Up! Keep stampin’ and scrappin’!
