You’ve heard enough of me saying I’m working on using my stash and retired product. Well, the Honey Bee stamp set and Detailed Bee dies, along with the Golden Honey Specialty Paper, definitely qualifies. I’ll start with these two cards and I’m sure you’ll see a few more using some of the other stamps in this set in the future.

Let’s start with this one. Of course, I started with a Basic Black card base cut at 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 and scored at 4-1/4. I then added a piece of Bumblebee cardstock cut at 2-3/4 x 4 and placed on the card as shown. Next I pulled out three different designs of the paper and cut them at 1 x 3-3/4, adhering them to the left edge of the card over the Bumblebee cardstock. I always adhere the top and bottom strips first, so I can easily center the middle strip between the two.
The Whisper White or Basic White cardstock was cut at 2-1/2 x 3-3/4. I stamped the sentiment and the two bees in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I attached the stamped image to the card using Dimensionals to add some depth. The large die-cut bee was cut in gold foil. Before I cut the die, I ran the foil through my Xyron so I would have an easy time adhering it to the card. My final touch was the Bumblebee Trinkets, available in the current catalog, and placed on the center strip using Mini Glue Dots.

For the above card, I used all of the same dimensions but moved the strips to the right side of the card and down a little bit. This time I stamped the bees in Bumblebee ink and cut the large die-cut bumblebee from Basic Black cardstock. My little Bumblebee Trinket got added to the Whisper White cardstock above the sentiment this time.
Enjoy! Keep stampin’ and scrappin’!
