I finally got a chance to work on a simple Fun Folds card using the Pampered Pets stamp set and dies, along with the retired Playful Pets Designer Series Paper and Playful Pets Trinkets. You can still find the Pampered Pets stamp set and die in the Stampin’ Up! 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.
Let me give you the dimensions for the cards above so you can recreate them with your own fun images.
Let’s start with the basic card base of Basic Black cardstock cut at 4-1/4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2. I then lined the score line up on my cutter at the 1-inch mark and trimmed off the excess. The excess piece was then used to cut another 1-inch strip that will be the bottom part of the front of the card. You can also cut 1-3/4 x 3-1/8 out of the Basic Black for the dog card. I cut the Basic Black piece a little smaller for the kitty card, and you can adjust your piece according to your chosen image.
Next I cut a piece of DSP at 4 x 5-1/4 to place on the main card base. The strips with the words were cut at 4 x 3/4 and placed on the Basic Black 1-inch strips. The striped paper was cut at 2-3/4 x 4-1/4. That’s really all there is to it.
