Well, it’s Monday and the challenge is still on with my sis-in-law, Susanne, who is a consultant for that “other” stamping company. Like I’ve said earlier, I’m having a blast with this challenge. It’s got a little bit of my mojo going and I’m actually using stamps I haven’t used in a very long time. Let’s take a look at the ones above. The stamp set on the left is actually a current Stampin’ Up! set that is call Jar of Flowers and located on Pg. 16 of the Annual Catalog. It has a coordinating jar punch and Mason Jar Shaker Domes to easily make a shaker card. The stamp set on the right is a Close To My Heart stamp set and is the set Susanne has chosen to match my stamp set.

Unfortunately, I do not own the Jar of Flowers stamp set, but I do have the retired Jar of Love set that is shown above. This set came out in 2016 and I, regretfully, have only used it once since I bought it. Ugggg! Once again, why not? This has been a totally fun set to use for this challenge. It has coordinating dies which I utilized in making my cards.

I’m not quite sure why my photo turned out so blurry, but you can get the idea. Obviously great minds think alike, because my sis-in-law also chose to make a shaker card with her stamp set. I’ll have a video this Friday showing you how I created the card. Of course, I needed at least one more card since all of my goodies were out on my desk.

This time I chose to make a slimline card using the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper. I loved how the two cards have a totally different look using the same stamp set. Look for a video in a week or two showing how I made this card.

Next week will be the last week of our stamp set challenge, and then in July we will be doing a 12×12 scrapbook layout challenge, which my sis-in-law shines at and I suck! Until then, make sure to Like and Subscribe to My YouTube page and Susanne’s YouTube page also. Her videos are much nicer and definitely more polished, but you can use mine as an example of what not to do! Keep stampin’ and scrappin’!
