Can you believe it’s August already? I know for me the year is just flying by.

Now on to the stamp set I was playing with this weekend, Bunches of Fun. I decided I wanted to use the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper from the January Sale-a-bration catalog. I still have several pieces left and thought this would be a good use for it. Even though this paper coordinates with Bermuda Bay cardstock, I thought I would lighten the color a little and instead used Pool Party.
On the top card, I used the Stitched Rectangles die and stamped the girl image on it, using my Blends to color her in. I stamped a few bananas on the Designer Series Paper and then simply wrapped some retired white ribbon around it. The sentiment was stamped and then placed on more of the Oh So Ombre paper, along with fussy cutting a couple more bananas and using my Blends once again.
The next card used a similar format, instead using the Layering Squares die and stamping both the girl and the bananas on the square, and still fussy cutting one of the bananas. I did flag the sentiment just to add a little something different to the card.
Of course, I had to add a few images to the inside of the card. I plan on making several of these cards for my stash and then creating some new ones using some of the other stamps in the set. I didn’t get around to making a video last Friday and I’m thinking I probably won’t make one for this week either. I’m not really feeling it right now, but maybe once I work on a new Christmas card, my mojo for videoing will be back.
