Fun Weekend

My mother-in-law had her 94th birthday this last weekend and we headed to Illinois to celebrate with her. While we were there, my husband and his brother enjoyed the Effingham County Fair, and my sis-in-law and I headed to her home base and did some scrapbooking. Then to top off the week, we went to a couple of St. Louis Cardinals games, to my husband’s delight. He’s a Cardinals fan through and through.

I hope everyone is enjoying checking out all of the great products available in the new Mini Catalog and the free items available in the Sale-a-bration catalog. I plan to showcase a few more of those in the next coming weeks, along with my attempt to work on Christmas cards each month.

But I must say, you may see less of my blog posts showing Stampin’ Up! products. It’s time to get back to working on my first love — scrapbooking — and actually putting photos on layouts. Quite a few companies have scrapbooking workshops I’ve attended over the years and I’ve enjoyed their offerings. This is an area Stampin’ Up! does not pursue quite as much as it does cardmaking. Don’t get me wrong — I use Stampin’ Up! products in my scrapbooking, and I think no one does better with ink, paper and stamps!

To make a long story a little shorter, you may see more of what I’m currently tackling on my work table, both cards and various scrapbooking projects, and probably a few less videos. Have fun with your crafting and keep stampin’ and scrappin’!

I’m Trenna,

Welcome to my cozy corner of the internet, dedicated to all things homemade and delightful. I invite you to join me on a journey of creativity of handmade cards and scrapbook pages, made with a touch of love. Let’s get crafty!
