Well, this is my Christmas card for my monthly challenge of creating at least 30 cards a month. This way I’ll be all done by the end of November and no last minute rushes to finish up cards.
I found the inspiration for this card on Pinterest and it was created by Kurstan Rosario. Many thanks to her for this simple but elegant card. I changed a few things from her original creation, but all in all, it was perfect the way it was.
As I mention on the video, I did use my Cricut to cut out the snowflake in the glimmer cardstock. It really took me longer to get the right settings on the Cricut than to actually cut out all the snowflakes. Once I figured it out, it was a breeze, and I even remembered to write the steps down for the next time I cut glimmer cardstock. For those of you interested, it was the Custom setting, searched for glimmer or glitter cardstock, fine-point blade and the blue light-grip mats.
I think it’s now time for me to take a look at some of my Halloween stamp sets for my October cards. I love those creepy crawly cards! Keep stampin’ and scrappin’!
