Forever Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper

I did something that I very seldom do, and that is purchase an item off the Stampin’ Up! Clearance Rack. It’s not because I don’t love the items that are shown there, but by the time I make my purchase, the item is usually gone within a day or two and then when I show you my creations, you can no longer purchase the product. But I’m afraid that the above item was just too good to pass up. I knew I could easily make 30 or more cards from this and do it fairly quickly. I’ll start with the easiest few first.

I took some retired vellum with gold foil and retired Springtime Foil Specialty Designer Series Paper, both of which are so old I have no idea when they were purchased, and brought my cards to life. As you know, my new mantra is to use what I have, and I felt these worked perfectly with the foil pieces that just needed an added sentiment. The card bases are the Basic White Thick Cardstock, and then I layered the paper and the foil pieces on the front. I stamped the sentiments on Basic White Cardstock and embossed them with Gold Embossing Powder. These are ready to simply add the inside greeting when needed.

Check back later to see what else I did with the other pieces of Forever Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper. Keep stampin’ and scrappin’!
