It was time to get to work on some masculine birthday cards, and I had a stamp set from Stampin’ Up! that I had never used. It’s my goal to start using everything I have, and it’s a shame this stamp set was neglected for so long.

I used card bases of Smoky Slate and Basic Gray cardstock from Stampin’ Up! and then the Well Suited Designer Series Paper from a year ago. I stamped the images in Smoky Slate and Basic Gray. I used the Stitched Rectangles die for the tie and then fussy-cut the hat and shoes. The “Happy Birthday” came from another old stamp set and was also die cut using the Stitched Rectangles.

I wanted to add a little something extra and decided on the Metallic Pearls, also from Stampin’ Up! This is a quick and easy card, and I must admit I didn’t even mind doing a bit of fussy-cutting!

Keep stampin’ and scrappin’!
