Well, I have finally got a little bit of my mojo back, probably because of this cute new stamp set in the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. I played with my really old retired Designer Series Paper and Embossing Folders to create these cards. I’m not big on birds, but this guy reminded me of a set from Stampin’ Up! from years ago that I loved.

Not too much for me to explain on how I made these cards. I punched out a circle from white cardstock and stamped the bird’s feet on the circle. I then stamped the bird on scrap paper and punched him out using the Songbird Builder Punch and attached him to the circle using Dimensionals. I added the little stamped notes on the same circle, layered the whole thing on a coordinating paper circle, and attached it to the embossed paper. I used my retired Decorative Dots or Woodgrain Embossing Folder for the embossing.

The sentiment was stamped and then punched out using the retired Washi Tape punch. I layered it on another punched-out piece of cardstock, cutting this piece in the middle and layering it behind the sentiment so it looked like it was simply a larger punch. No one will ever know it’s not a full piece!
