CASE-ing Tuesday is a group on Facebook that takes a card from the Stampin’ Up! annual catalog and challenges us to make a card using the sample in the catalog. This week’s sample was on Page 16 of the annual catalog pictured as follows.

So I decided to do a Christmas in July type of card using Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper in the Mini Catalog July – December 2022. I chose the paper on the end with the pine trees and also the reverse side of that paper of the design with the various colors of green.

Out came my Wondrous Wreath and Snow is Glistening stamp sets, both retired. Remember, I’m actually trying to use what I have, but at the same time use what I just bought, which was this beautiful paper. My card base was Evening Evergreen, and I stamped the wreath in Old Olive, then the extra leaves in Shaded Spruce, and finally Cherry Cobbler for the berries. Of course, I ended up adding some Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the wreath after I took my photo. I couldn’t pass up a little bling!

So as you can see, I kind of flipped my card from the CASE’d card. The Basic White piece is cut at 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 and I stamped “Joy” in Old Olive on the bottom to take the place of the small banner in the sample card. The green piece was cut at 3-1/2 x 3/4 and attached to the top of the Basic White cardstock. Then it was just a matter of running my wreath through the Big Shot and placing it all on the card. I apologize for my colors being a little off in my photo of my card.

Try your hand at CASE-ing this card and see what you can come up with. Keep stampin’ and scrappin’!
