This is the mess that was my craft room this weekend. I have several card-making kits from different companies and conventions I have attended over the years, and it was time to get started on several of those. I put together one kit and had quite a bit of leftover paper, enough to create at least 17 more cards. So I made card bases out of Heavy Basic White Cardstock and then headed to my Scrap Rack to add embellishments. I also pulled out about six or seven stamp sets to add my sentiment to the front of the cards. This is what I ended up with.

I’m very happy with all of the cards, but I’m appalled by how this didn’t even make a dent in the amount of stuff I have in my stash. Challenge yourself to take a look at your stash and see if you can create a few basic cards from what you already have. Don’t think about it too much. This is just for a quickie type “thinking of you” card to brighten someone’s day.

Keep stampin’ and scrappin’!
