I’ll talk about my weekend crafting, but I also want to let you know I’ve attached a .pdf showing the September 15 weekly specials from Stampin’ Up! Okay, now to the fun stuff.
This last weekend, I had some crafty things to do for our church’s Women’s Bible Study. I’ve always created the name tents for the gals to sit on the table in front of them so everyone can connect a face with a name. We needed a few more and these were the ones I created, using my Cricut.

I let the Cricut do most of the hard work, and the only thing I really added was the gold shimmer on the angel’s wings and crown.

I know this is kind of a funny photo, but I wanted to show you my engineering solution to something I noticed with my project. Sometimes the cardstock with the additional embellishment ended up flattening on the table in front of the gals when the tents became too heavy. So to combat that, I took a 1/2″ x 4″ piece of scrap cardstock and added a bit of Tear & Tape to each end of the strip. I placed in on the inside of the tent and this keeps it upright but then can also be stored flat when it’s time to pick up our stuff.
Keep stampin’ and scrappin’!
