I’m sure I mentioned quite awhile ago, I used a lot of leftover 12×12 paper from the 2022 or earlier Creating Keepsakes Convention’s various workshops and created lots of card bases. Well, I’m finally getting around to actually putting stuff on those card bases. I started off with this.

For some reason, animals seemed to be needed on this card. Out came the retired Animal Outing stamp set and coordinating dies.

I started by making grass. I cut a 1″ strip of green cardstock and then used the retired Fringe Scissors from Stampin’ Up! to make my grass. What fun to use these again! I attached it to the card base.

Next I stamped my giraffe and die cut it out. I colored it in using my watercolor pencils but just used them as colored pencils. I then added more die-cuts of leaves and got the finished product, along with using the Stitched Rectangles to cut out my thank you. I’ll be working on more blank card bases in the coming weeks.
Keep stampin’ and scrappin’!
