Getting My Mojo Back With Paper Pumpkin

I took some time off and ran to St. Louis for a Creating Keepsakes Convention with my sis-in-law and her sister. We had a great time and I came back with way too much paper, scrapbooking and card ideas. After the convention, I took my time and toured up through Illinois to visit some of my old haunts and good friends that were still in the area.

What I am leading up to is when I finally made it back to Arizona, I simply put everything away, organized it the best I could, and then just decided I didn’t feel like doing any more crafting. Well, after awhile, I knew I needed to get back in the craft room and get doing something, or anything, crafty, but I had no idea what I wanted to do. So I was staring at two Paper Pumpkin boxes that were half finished, another one just barely opened, and finally one that didn’t even have the postage wrapping off of it. The photo above is the first one I decided to work on. It was from February of 2018 and I picked this up at an estate sale several months ago. The stamp set and ink spot were missing from the box, but I didn’t have any trouble using my own supplies to make the nine cards as shown using their instructions.

The top card on the above photo has a little closer look at what the cards looked like when completed. What happened after I finished those cards was what led to the card on the lower part of the photo. I ended up with a lot of leftover stickers. I created this card using the Deckled Rectangles die, a Crumb Cake card base, a few dimensionals and the leftover stickers from the kit. With all of those leftovers, I finished three more cards. Now I have one Paper Pumpkin box finished and three more to go. I think my crafting mojo is heading in the right direction!

I’m afraid for the next week you’ll be seeing what I’ve been doing to finish up these boxes and get back in the swing of things. Check out Paper Pumpkin for yourself and see what all it comprises.

Keep stampin’ and scrappin’!
