It’s time for a Father’s Day card. I, of course, pulled out some of my retired Stampin’ Up! stamp sets and thought the Geared Up Garage set would work well. I also managed to find the Gearworks die and the dies that went with the stamp set.
I needed an idea and decided to go to the Stampin’ Up! catalog and found the set Legendary Ride. If you are like me, I love Stampin’ Up! products but I find this latest catalog very confusing. I ended up in a category of the catalog called Encore! and found stamp sets that are still available but not shown well in the catalog. On page 78 is Legendary Ride and I found it necessary to go online and look at the set there. That’s where I found an idea for my card.

Believe it or not, this was the card I got my idea from. I know it doesn’t look anything like my card, but I took the way the card had a border edge and the motorcycle is slanted and kind of set on a base of some sort and I just went from there. When you click on the Legendary Ride stamp set when shopping on my website, there are a number of samples using the set.
Keep in mind when looking through the catalog, even though it’s inconvenient, there are many good samples of cards when you click on the stamp set online in the shopping section. I personally like the idea of being able to browse through my catalog and not having to always head to the computer to get a fuller picture.
Well, enough ranting from me. Hope you enjoy the video. Keep stampin’ and scrappin’!
