I got the Hello Hollyhocks Kit in one of my last few orders. I had watched the video above but wanted to check out one of the kits myself, and this one worked because the price point was good. I love Paper Pumpkin, but I think I will start looking more at the different Online Exclusives. This way I can choose exactly what I think I can use and watch out for what is a fairly good buy. Paper Pumpkin is great, but I’m not really in a position to use some of the cute little boxes or 3-D items in the kits anymore. I’m pretty sure my hairdresser and manicurist are getting tired of my little gifts!
Of course, I made the Hello Hollyhocks kit just like the cards were shown and it was nice and quick. This kit required no stamping, just punching out die cut pieces.

This kit has sayings in several different languages. I keep the cutout pieces from these kits that have extra tags, circles, etc., in the different languages. Even though I won’t use the stamped sentiment, the other side is great for doing my own stamping.

I keep these in an extra stamp case and have them sitting on my desk for a quick addition to a card. Sometimes, as you see above, I can even use some of the already-stamped sentiments.

I’m going to use these cards as a starting point for some other cards I have in mind. I’ll show you my creations as soon as I get them made.
Keep stampin’ and scrappin’!
